Winfred (Winnie) Nantambi from Uganda, won one of the SMH/AHILA 2017 grants!
Winnie began her studies for a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science at Makerere University, College of Computing and Information Science, East African School of Library and Information Science, in Kampala. In 2015/16, she got an abstract accepted for the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress, but was not able to attend due to lack of funds. When the opportunity to apply for the SMH/AHILA grant came, she was happy to be selected.
Winnie spent the grant on the course «Systematic Review and Meta Data Analysis Training» at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Read more about her experiences in her Training report to SMH and AHILA
